| Hello. I am a 56 years old man, and I suffer from arthritis. I am taking the usual treatment for it. It doesn't work very well, so I was thinking of trying with acupuncture. I heard that it helps with arthritis. I have a friend who say that it works wonders for the back, as well as the rest of the body. Could you explain me what acupuncture is all about anyway? How does it work? |

| Well, the needles are stuck in your skin. The Chinese say that Chi (your energy, spirit or something) travel through your body. There are meridians which, when obstructed, don't contribute to the "flow" of Chi. In English, the pins stimulates the nerves, and make them work better. It is really great, for pain relief, as well as for the relaxation. |
