| Hi. I am a 24 years old woman, and I am interested in relaxation treatments. I am familiar with a massages, sauna, and somehow, I know nothing about acupuncture. I know that it helps you to relax, and that it has something to do with needles, but I am not sure what really. Could you tell me something more about it? How does it work? |

| Well, it is quite simple, really. The acupuncturist stick the needles in your skin. The Chinese say that Chi (your energy, spirit or something) travel through your body. There are meridians which, when obstructed, don't contribute to the "flow" of Chi. In English, the pins stimulates the nerves, and make them work better. This way, you feel more relaxed, and healthier. And by the way, the needles are really small, so you don't almost feel them at all! |
