Hello my grandma is 80 years old and she has been diagnosed with cancer. She started with chemo …she looks bad and those meds that she has been taking….I don’t know she looks to me sicker then before the treatment. I was wondering what is acupuncture usage in treating cancer. I would appreciate some info about it.

I did some research about acupuncture usage in treating cancer and I haven’t found evidence that acupuncture is effective as a treatment for cancer. However, it seems that is helpful in treating nausea caused by chemotherapy drugs. It eases nausea caused by chemotherapy. I am sorry I can’t help you more. You should find some acupuncturist and consult him/her about it.
