I have acute bronchitis. Doctor says that it is caused by my smoking. I was smoking for 20 years, I have stopped only during pregnancy. I cough all the time with the productive cough. Is it curable? How to stop it and to easy the cough attacks? Please I need an advice.
Acute bronchitis is unfortunately something you can't cure. It means that your airways and tubes leading to the lungs are narrowed because of an inflammation. They are full of mucus that you cough out. You can experience the chest pains or problem with the breathing. You can easy your symptoms if you stop smoking, by medications and breathing treatments, to try avoiding everything which makes you breathing difficult.
