Last week at school we learned about famous inventors. It was a historical fact that, beside being geniuses, many of them suffered from acute paranoia. They thought that there were always some people trying to steal their inventions and for some of their inventions they thought of them as miracles, though they were not that. So, I got interested in this acute paranoia. What is it actually?

Acute paranoia is a behavior disorder caused by mechanism that avoids reality and its aspects. One of the effects is paranoid ideas that are very different from patient to patient. You already gave a detailed example of this illness. Also, patients think that they have some supernatural powers and they are so convinced in this that they sometimes easily convince other people in that. Thus, cults and sects are created!
