I have heard that acute pulmonary embolism can be very dangerous. I am interested about the clinical syndromes of acute pulmonary embolism. I need to write a story by that name. It is for some humanitarian organization. They are trying to help people by familiar them with the number of diseases. Help me to help them!

Here it is. Patients with massive acute pulmonary embolism present with systemic arterial hypotension and usually have anatomically widespread thromboembolism. Primary therapy with thrombolysis or embolectomy offers the greatest chance of survival. Those with moderate to large pulmonary embolism have right ventricular hypokinesis on echocardiography but normal systemic arterial pressure. Nonthrombotic pulmonary embolism may be easily overlooked.
