Hello, I don't know if I am overreacting with this, but I suspect my husband has adrenal adenoma. He has abnormal production of hormone cortisol. I know that it could be adenoma symptom. I just wanted to know what adenomas symptoms are and how adrenal adenomas are diagnosed. Thank you in advance for any help.
The thing is the most patients with an adrenal adenoma will have no symptoms caused by the adenoma. However, abnormal amounts of steroid hormones are surely reason to be suspicious. The commonest abnormality is the production of too much cortisol. Increased amounts of cortisol will cause Cushing's syndrome. I think they use MRI to diagnose. It is usually shown as adrenal lump. I hope you are wrong about your husband.
