Hi. I`m 18 and always had trouble with remembering names, dates, etc. And it`s not a temporary thing. That problem with learning and applying information interfere with my normal daily life. Anyway, I have never thought that it was a problem, until a friend told me that I may have an adult learning disorder. What is that and how to treat it?
Hi. Adult learning disorder affects your ability to understand or use language (spoken or written), do math calculations, or direct attention. A special education is the most common treatment adult learning disorders. Some medications may be effective. Psychological therapies may also be helpful. Have to say that learning disorder can be lifelong conditions. Some persons may have a single learning problem.
