Hi, I’m 17 years old and need an advice related to my sexual life. Since last 3 weeks, I’ve noticed that after having sex my vigina is sore and swollen. I haven’t vaginal discharge, and this soreness lasts about 2 hours and occurs every time after intercourse. I guess that this is not symptom of sexual transmitted disease because there’s no way I could get it. I don’t feel resistance and pain during intercourse. Soreness occurs 10-15 minutes after sex. What to do?
Well, as you said that you don’t have pain sensation during intercourse, it means that you don’t have problem with lubricate insufficiency. This type of soreness and swelling is likely to occur as a result of excessive friction and hard thrusting. Maybe you’re having sex for too long?! Vaginal mucosa is very sensitive and this is probably reaction on mechanic irritation. If I were you I’d check it with my gyn, you can never be sure that there is no underlying infection.
