Hello! Is there anybody who could tell me at what age does a woman enters premenopause? I am 37 years old and started having problems with my periods. I am also experiencing troubles with sleeping. Could it be that I have already entered premenopause?
Perimenopause may even begin at the age 35, but it is usually between 35 and 45 and may last for only a couple of moths or a couple of years as well. Some women experience more menopausal symptoms during their premenopause. Most of the changes refer to menstrual cycle. These changes can be quite different on an individual basis. Additionally, fluctuating estrogen level can produce a lot of disturbing symptoms like hot flashes, increasing vaginal dryness, sleep problems, mood swings, breast tenderness and many other complications.
