|

i used to have chest pains, a squeezing feeling - but those are pretty much gone now after meds from a dr
but lately my left side.. right above the hip has been tight and somewhat sore. I'm 18. I don't drink often, but i realized that whenever i do, it bothers me a bit more. its more of an uncomfortable feeling than a real pain, but i have no idea what it might be.
any suggessions? |

| Sounds lyk either ur liver or appendix is actin up. If its ur appendix it may need to be removed but its not painful at all. If its ur liver its more serious so check with ur doc ASAP |

| My side tightness/squeezing comes and goes. I notice it acts up more after a night of heavy drinking or physical activity. I had a tumor 2 years ago, but it was on the opposite side of the tightness and has been removed, so I am just as clueless as you. Post a response if you find anything out. |

| Wow, the last person posted exactly what I would've posted. I had lipoma on my right side 2 years ago and had it removed. Before and after the development of the tumor I had regular tightness in my sides, but now it seems to be concentrated on my left, non-tumor side. It has been getting worse lately. I drink 2-3 times a week and notice that the tightness comes and goes without any direct relation to my drinking. I am thinking of just going to see the doctor, but I doubt they'll know what it is. They'll probably say its a muscle pull. To the previous poster, please post a response if you find anything that may be beneficial and I will do the same. Good luck. |
