alcohol and lymphs

Hello! For the last couple of days the lymph nodes under my armpit and on the neck have been enlarged. I didn’t worry too much because I have just got over a cold, and I thought that is why the lymphs got swollen. However, last night I went out with some buddies and we had plenty of cocktails. This morning when I woke up, the lymph nodes became painful. I still feel discomfort. Is alcohol in some connection with the pain of the swollen lymph nodes? Anybody experienced anything similar? All info is welcome

Hi there! I don’t want to scare you or anything but I remember once I read that if lymph nodes swell and hurt after alcohol consumption, that it may mean Hodgkin disease. So, it would be good if you went to a clinic and do some tests to be on the safe side. Good luck!
