I’m 8 months pregnant. I’ve had no health problems during the first 7 months, but I’ve developed hbp since last 10 days. Doctor prescribed me aldomed. I feel very tired and dizzy and have to avoid all activities, because I’m drowsy all day long. Have you had problems with hbp in pregnancy? Please tell me something about aldomed.
Aldomet causes dizziness and drowsiness. Unusual fatigue may also occur. This drug is usually prescribed antihypertensive in pregnancy caused hbp.
You should use caution when rising from lying position because of orthostatic hypotension that it may cause. Aldomet lowers your high blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels. Do not stop taking your therapy suddenly. It may interact with some drugs, even otcs, so you’d better discuss with your doctor before taking any medicine.
