what are the interactions when taking darvocet and aleve. I know that you should not take aleve within 3 hours of the darvocet. What are the long term effects?
As far as I know, these two drugs should not be taken together at all unless differently instructed by a doc.
It is actually aleve that shouldn’t be mixed with any other pain relievers or fever reducers. It is also said that aleve shouldn’t be mixed with aspirin, ibuprofen, codeine and acetaminophens (darvocet).
Although these two drugs have different action mechanisms, they still shouldn’t be taken together.
