I have a disease called retroperitoneal fibrosis/RF for short, which in turns attacks my organs such as kidneys. I've got HBP and diabetise. About a month ago, I was told that iron level 9.2. Prescribed iron pills (chromogen?). Several days later,my left foot started to swell. The more I took, my foot began to ballon, hard and tight as rubber. I informed my doc (hemotologist). Told no way that I could be allergic to iron pills. I continue to be so tired. Last ck up iron level is 9.4 after a month of being on iron. I'm to wait 1 month for iron shots. I removed myself off 1/2 dose of iron and foot slowly is going down. Any other experiences.
