My friend has recently started college and has developed seizure like
episodes. The only other symptom is a swollen tongue. Doctors want to
chalk it up to anxiety, but he's not the anzious type.
Does anyone recognize these symptoms and what they can be related to?
Looking for any ideas???
Much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed that I have seizures from light beer. Regular beer is fine. I only takes an ounce or two to put me on the floor or gazing off unable to move any voluntary muscles. I don't know what is in in light beer that is different from regular beer, but I can't tolerate it. Also, I have found that some of the new gourmet chocolates puts me into worse seizures -- totaly unconsious, minor twitching and growling, and even once I stopped breathing for over two minutes.
I think there are more alergy related seizures than is relaized by the medical community. Tell your friend to pay attention to pay close what he eats and drinks. Some reactions may be almost imeadiate, some may take 20 min or more after ingestion. Good luck.

My nephew started having seizures about 5 yrs. ago.
He is a beer drinker...He has 1-2 quarts a night..
I have read that people who drink beer could have seizures due to the proteins in the beer...I would highly suggest you looking into
doing a liver cleanse as well as an intestinal cleanse..
Every Nutritionist will tell you to begin with the cleanses first...
