alprazolam withdrawal effects after taking more than prescri

I was just wondering. I went through a disturbing, shocking experience and for about 3 days I took more of my alprazolam than prescribed. I went back to my usual dosage and I am having like withdrawal symptoms. Feeling numb, unable to concentrate, self-detached, unreality, feeling unable to accomplish tasks that I didn't even have to think about before. Is this normal and how long does it take to get to feeling normal again after going back to the normal dosage? Any information would be helpful.

It is normal to have withdrawal symptoms from a dosage reduction. Alprazolam is extremely short-acting, so the withdrawal period is shorter and more intense. May i ask how much you're prescribed, and how much more you were taking?
