Have you heard about alvitum? I know that it is supposed to be used before gastric bypass surgery, to help lose on weight. Can it be used safely if surgery is not planned? What does alvitum contain as active ingredients? I still haven’t found drug or remedy that is successfully used in treatment of overweight. Please post if you know the facts about alvitum. Thanks.

Alvitum is said to be nutritional supplement and all I know that some of preparations are caffeine free, and others contain caffeine. It is rich in vitamins and minerals. alvitum is actually 2 steps treatment, before and after the surgery. Pre surgery preparation contains caffeine that is proven as effective in weight loss. My opinion is that if this preparation is really significantly effective to aid in weight loss, surgery would not be needed.
