Hi, I am 28 years old and my father is suffering from arthritis. I am watching him every day complaining on pain in his knee, he is also walking very hard when pain is stronger. I would like to know if I am predisposed for arthritis when my father has it? Thanx.
Hi, there are several factors which rise risks to get arthritis. One of them is hereditary too. However it doesn't mean that you will get arthritis if your father has it. Other risk factors are obesity, age and ethnicity. Also healthy way of living with enough sport activities will reduce risk factors.
