hi, I just want to comment, i too drink quite a lot of wine and am fine until the next morning when I wake to a bit of a chunder...
I know certain wines affect me and then I can drink 5 bottles of another wine and I am not sick at all..
I eat before I drink and it really does not make a difference.
I do think there is a chemical in wine and champagne that really affects me. I often get so paranoid that something is wrong with me.
when i was younger i could drink and drink and drink..
no hangovers nothing
Now, I can still drink, drink drink..but spew spew spew... only next mornings! Hate it! |

| I have the exact same problem! I almost always wake up early in the morning puking for the next few hours. However, I don't want to give up drinking while I'm about to enter college! Aggh, it's so disappointing! |

I, too have some symptoms after drinking !!!
I used to be able to drink alot, and this wasn't too long ago.
But in the past week I got really sick from drinking beer,
and then I got even sicker from whiskey.
When i drank the whiskey, I was throwing up in the middle of the night
whilst I was trying to sleep. I continued to throw up [maybe about 30 times that day ??] until 11 that morning. I took a power nap, and
when I awoke at 2:00 i was able to eat at 2:30

|
|
| If my mother drinks alcohol she throws up blood, in fact all of us girls have this it has been passed down from generation to generation. My great grandmother could not drink at all even at church communion in the old days which served wine. My grandmother gets terrible headaches so she pretends she drinking with one drink the entire night its fun to watch she never sips it. My mother has it worse even perfume or alcohol swabs get her in the hospital. She recently had surgery and they had to remove the hand sanitizers from the room and the hallway so that the nurses would not touch her. When she gave birth to my sister they gave her an alcohol IV she was clinically dead for several minutes due to the doctors not reading her charts it was a very scary moment. Once she kissed my dad who drank her lips swelled up. I am allergic to beer, my sister anything that is hard liquor, and my other sister can not drink certain brands of alcohol. It does exist my family is living proof |

i'm almost positive to believe i'm allergic to alcohol.
i can take, one shot, or have one beer, or one mixed drink
and my head is in the toliet at 4am, EVERY TIME
then i'll have the most immense stomach ache the WHOLE next day
so unbareable i wont be able to sleep for more than 20 minute intervals.
alcohol isn't the only thing that gets my belly to grumble either
my boyfriend tells me i have more belly aches than anyone he knows
maybe i'm allergic to something in alcohol thats also in foods?
or is there just something wrong with my stomach!?? |

Almost eight months ago I had a date rape drug slipped in my drink and the next day was vomiting constantly. For a while after, every time I drank, even a small amount, I would throw up. It finally got better to the point where I would just have a regular hangover stomach ache in the morning and would go away by noontime. However, recently again I drank probably more than I should have and threw up the next day. I was not better until about four in the afternoon. I thought perhaps it was because I drank so many sugary drinks; but last night I drank only a few drinks, got abnormally drunk (and I ate plenty during the day), and have been throwing up all day today. This also tends to occur more with liquor than beer, and there is no chance that I am pregnant. I was thinking perhaps my body has had almost an antabuse reaction to alcohol?
Does anyone have any leads as to what the this is? I don't need to drink but I do enjoy my alcohol. |
