In the lst couple of months I have put so much weight on and I keep trying to lose some but it is not working. I eat properly and exercise quite a lot, but nothing is going on. I have been on yasmin for over a year now but I heard also that people who suffer from hypothyroidism can’t lose any weight because there isn’t enough of this thyroid hormone that manages metabolism. What could it be?

Hello! We can’t tell you anything because you said almost anything apart from not being to lose weight. Are there any other symptoms? Hypothiroidism is usually followed by some other symptoms like weakness, hair loss, constipation, memory loss, decresed libido, etc…. I wouldn’t won’t to give you any wrong diagnosis, it would be best you went to the doctor and checked your health.

| For me this was one of the side affects of yasmin. The other side affects were far more serious. Please log on to medications.com and read the yasmin forum. Would never take this pill again. Almost ruined my life. I am a vegetarian but put on over a stone while on yasmin. |
