Hello! I gave birth to my 3rd son at the age of 36 and he was born with Down syndrome. We accepted him the way it is but are doing our best to include him in a normal life as much as possible. So, he is able to write, he even uses internet, read, we have been working with him quite much, took him to doctors, psychologists, etc….Some days ago I read about Ambrotose, which is said to treats Down syndrome. Is there anybody who can tell me about this product and how it is possible that it treats Down. Thank you in advance!!!!

Hello! Unfortunately, the info you got is not quite true. Ambrotose is a product developed by Mannatech Company but it is distributed by other groups in a Multi-Level Marketing setup. These groups have been spreading stories that Ambrotose helps cure specific cures even though Manatech prohibits such stories from spreading. It is similar with Down syndrome, or Asthma.
Ambrotose is a blend of specific plant saccharides that provides support for the immune system. Mannatech says that Ambrotose provides 8 sugars necessary in glycoproteins: glucose, galactose, mannose, fucose, xylose, N-acetylglucosamine, N-acetylgalactosamine, and N-acetylneuraminic acid. So, the only thing Ambrotose does work is promote better working of the immune system and endocrine systems of the body. It can be used by both healthy and people who suffer from a disease. And there hasn’t been any specific research of Ambrotose on the Down syndrome, what you heard are just theories.
