amiodarone-induced skin problems?

Recently my father started to take amiodarone because he has serious problem with arrhythmias of the heart. But today he noticed that his skin become very dry. We are thinking that it’s maybe because he is using amiodarone. Does anybody know is it possible that amiodarone-induced skin problems? Does he need to report that to his doctor?

You probably know that amiodarone is very effective drug but that it has many side effects. So anything strange you noticed, you need to tell to your doctor. Skin rush and dry skin are possible side effects of this medication and your father need to react. Tell him to call his doctor immediately.
