My daughter is 16 years old and she is having angiofibromas. Doctor recommended CO2 treatment .I have heard that is very effective treatment but I would like to hear some more about angiofibromas. She is extremely unhappy, she doesn’t want to go to school, so we hired private teacher. I am afraid that this could leave some serious consequences on her mental health.
CO2 laser seems to be a good therapeutic tool to treat angiofibromas .Good even cosmetically acceptable results are gained even in dark skin patients with negligible effects and minimal recurrences. The treatments of these lesions have been a challenge because of the multiplicity of the lesions and the presence of the lesions at anatomically difficult sites. Agiofibromas cause significant cosmetic disfigurement and emotional distress. Depending of the duration of the lesions her doctor will know what best treatment for her is.
