antibiotics and alcohol

if i drink alcohol with my antibiotics what will happen?

Different antibiotics have different effects when taken with alcohol. Some are fine, others will make you extremely drunk after just a few glasses but more often than not they can make you sick. Alcohol can also make the anitbiotics less effective so generally its best to keep the alcohol till after you have finished your tablets..

umm the idea behind not mixing alcohol and antibiotics is a myth..

i'm taking isoniazid, i dont drink often, for instance i havent drunk for two months, but if this weekend i drink around 8 standard alcoholic drinks, would that affect my liver severely?
what can i do immediately if i have side effects in order for it to not be permenant?
