antidepressants and pain killers combo?

What do you think about antidepressants and painkillers combo? I have been taking small dosages of both. I was prescribed with antidepressants due to my anxieties. They started occurring right after the car crash I survived 6 months ago. I still cannot walk properly because both my legs were broken, almost smashed. I guess that is why depression occurred. Anyway, I took on my own painkillers because they help sometimes.

I think that you should stop taking those painkillers immediately. I know that that combination can be fatal. Your doctor did not give you painkillers in the first place, that should have been a sign clear enough for you. I would strongly advise you to stop taking painkillers and consult your doctor immediately. If you are in pain, then he will think of some way to help you deal with that. Please, do not complicate your life, it looks that it is already hard enough.
