i have ibs and the other day i had a bowel movement and bled a little and when i go to the bathroom and i pass gas and i bleed some i dont go to the nathroom regularly and this happens once in a while not all the time ill go with out bleeding for several months and then i will go a couple of days and not poop then ill go and bleed a little and it scares me
This is certainly not comfortable experience. Have you seen a doctor about it? You should see a doc and have a rectal examination to see what’s going on. It is quite possible that you have developed hemorrhoids due to problems with constipation.
Hemorrhoids may go away on their own sometimes and reappear when you start straining or they may not show symptoms when you are not straining.
Bleeding during bowel movements can be common in gastrointestinal diseases like Chron’s disease and I reckon that evaluating what it could be is the first step you should take. Without proper diagnosis, you probably won’t be able to solve the problem.
