Ever since I entered menopause I have been suffering from anxiety. This is all new and strange to me considering I was always a very stable person. The biggest problem of all is that I don’t get any support from my family, but they get angry with me. The problem is that I can’t help the feeling. What should I do?
I suffered from anxiety as well at the beginning of my menopause. I wasn’t able to meet our old friends for quite some time and not to talk about being introduced to somebody new. Luckily, my husband was understanding as his mother suffered from anxiety disorder, so he helped me go through with this. He made me go out with him, we took walks in the parks and did stuff that didn’t make me anxious. I grow out of it in a year or something. It is very hard when you don’t have your family’s support. I would suggest you sought help from either you friends or even professional to help you deal with this problem. I hope you will get better soon. Good luck!
