any experience with having your pituitary gland removed due to a tumor?

Hi! I need some advices from you. My mum has a huge problem. She needs to go to surgery where they will remove pituitary gland because of tumor. I don't know how I can help her. Does anybody with any experience with having your pituitary gland removed due to a tumor can tell me something more about it? Thanks!

Hi! I feel sorry for your mother. I really can understand what is look like when you have so serious problem. My pituitary gland has removed last year. I was very scared before surgery but everything is ok now. I'm taking certain drugs to replace the hormones. She will also need to use these hormone replacements. Good luck!
