Often I hear a lot about healing therapies. Healing therapy do this, healing therapy do that etc. Sometimes I think that it must be some magic involved. Are they really so good? What kind of them there is? Are they used only for healing or it can be used for relaxation?
There is no magic involved. All of these therapies are trying to initiate the body's own healing mechanisms. There are a lot of therapies because there are a lot of philosophies, cultures and techniques. But we can say that there are three kind of healing therapies: alternative, complementary and integrative. Some of them are very effective and well known. Many of them are used for relaxation like yoga, aromatherapy, massage therapy etc. Have more faith in medicine.
