I had streptococcal angina in the throat that was not treated properly and after two weeks, infection affected my kidneys. And I got pyelonephritis. I did not spot the changes at first, but than the urine changed and I got high temperature. I am taking antibiotics and I would like to hear about any precautions in diet when suffering from condition.
Pyelonephritis is a very severe condition and if it is not treated properly it might have serious consequences. I think that you need to drink a lot of fluids, so the kidneys will work properly. You should also add some more proteins, because kidneys might not be able to withdraw them, because of their dysfunction.
