| I am so glad I found this site. My doctor also told me that my symptoms were not being caused by the Yaz. I have been having excruciating headaches, muscle soreness and extreme fatigue. My sex drive is completely gone and my husband and I seem to fight over silly things like meatloaf since I've been on these pills! Also I don't feel any emotion other than being sad and crying. I can't feel happy and it's making me crazy. I guess I'm not the crazy one and it really is the pills. |

I was seriously thinking I needed to consider anti-depression medication before reading these posts. I'm so glad to know that after 37 years of life I'm not loosing control of myself. I have been on Yaz for 3 weeks and have been uncontrollably irritable, had daily headaches, and cry at the drop of a hat. My boyfriend can't say or do anything right. I’m off these pills! I am glad however, that I didn’t have the low sex drive side effect |

Wow, I'm definitely glad to read that I'm not the only one who feels like they're going crazy taking YAZ.
I've been on it for about two and a half weeks and I feel like a completely different person.
I'm constantly angry at everyone, including my boyfriend who's in the military (not so fun for either of us) and my mother whom I've been constantly annoyed by.
I have no sex drive at 19.
And I have been completely exhausted 90% of the time.
I woke up this morning with a terrible headache and then started what seems to be my period, and I still have a week and a half left of my YAZ pack.
Needless to say, I'm done with it. |

|

I was on Yaz for a month and a half. I started taking it for skin care but became a different person after being on it. I had severe mood-swings, uncontrollable crying, picking fights over nothing, extremely tired, frequent headaches, none of which are characteristics of me. I realized this might be related to Yaz and as soon as I discontinued using the pill, I was completely fine and back to normal.
This may not be true for all, but Yaz made me crazy! |

| I took Yaz for about 10 days, and I wouldn't stop bleeding. That has never happened to me so I just stopped taking it. I bled for two weeks. Now, it has been almost 6 weeks since my last period started (when I started Yaz). This never happens to me either...something's wrong with this pill!!!! |

I have notice a very low sex drive, after reading about yaz, that's the probelm. My main reason for taking yaz was to control my acne ,which it has done a great job, BUT has made my sex life a nightmare |

This site is very helpful. after reading several of the entries and hearing my husband come home and tell me of a co-workers wife's research on Yaz, it opened my eyes. I have had several symptoms since starting it a few months ago that i could not explain and my doctor ob/gyn would say it was nothing.
I have experienced extreme fatigue, headaches, dizzyness, nausea after taking the pill, bleed in for almost 2 months or not bleeding at all for several months. I have been extremely emotional and have lost desire to do most daily activities and find myself sleepy all the time to the point of reaching "numb" sleep all of the time.
If any one else can help ith any other symptoms or what they have done or recommend another oral contrceptive please le me know!

Posted: 09/25/07 - 17:47 Post subject: yaz breast soreness and swelling?? |
|
|
Hi everyone,
I'm just about on my 4th pack of YAZ. The only major problem I'm having with it is my breast size. They are huge!! I was a 34 B when I started and now my 34 C bras are getting too small. I was excited about this at first, but my breasts are SO sore and I'm afraid that they're not going to stop growing. Does anyone know if this will eventually taper off or will they continue to grow? Please help. I have an appt. with my Dr. on Oct. 8th, but I'm hoping that I won't have to switch...any advice? |

I've been on YAZ for seven months and I guess I'm just the lucky one because it has worked great with me. I had major PMDD and it has totally gotten rid of the horrible cramps that had me in tears and kept me in bed and the mood swings...ugh...I can't even begin to describe how bad those were before I got on YAZ. My girlfriend did not even want to be around me right before my period because I was such a *witch*.
The only bad side effect that I have had from YAZ is breakouts. Like they are not bad, just a couple of pimples here and there. Anyone else have breakouts on YAZ? |
