Hello, I am 45 years old and I think it is time to finally confess that I'm an alcoholic. I cannot say that I drink every day, far from that, weeks may pass without a drop, but sometimes, from Friday night to Sunday night, I just cannot think/stand/be straight because of alcohol. So, I would like to end that agony and I would like to know if anyone has taken Campral?

First, I have to congratulate you on your decision. It is always very hard to look the truth in the eyes and admit that there is something really wrong with you. As for Campral, it is used for helping people that want to stop taking alcohol and it should be a big help in that process. I can only suggest you to maybe start with some group therapy sessions. Hearing other people's stories might help you find your right path.
