I am being told that i need an apico treatment on my #12...over the past few months, I have had numerous sinus infections on the same side. Could they be related?

I was asked by the my doctor to go back in their clinic because they found an APICO in my chest x -ray... What is an APICO? Is this a mild sickness or anything serious?
