Hello. I am a guy 35 years old and I am a doctor. I have a lot of kids coming in because of eating disorders. Mainly bulimia and anorexia. This is really getting out of control! Are the parents aware of the outburst of eating disorders? How can it be possible? I really don't understand. I think that something should be done about it.

It looks like they are not. But you know how it goes. They hear it on the news, read it in the papers, and they think that it is not going to happen to their kids. And that's how it goes. It is just the way it is. The only thing that can and is to be done is to raise public awareness, or it is going to get out of the control. If it hasn't already.
