My son is suffering from schizophrenia. Because of his illness he needs to be on constant therapy with antipsychotic drugs (had some changes in his therapy) are making him fat. I am so afraid for his health, because no diet can help him reduce his weight. Are there any antipsychotic drugs not causing weight gain?

Yes there is! The name of the drug is Ziprasidone. This medicine is a new generation of antipsychotic, and is designed not to gain weight in people who are taking it. I had experience with this medicine in the past, and was satisfied. I didn't gain weight; I even lost some of it, the one I was gained with other medications.
