my 9 year old has pimples and a rash developing under his left armpit only. he does not shave and has no hair. any ideas?

It could be a microbial infection of some kind. The armpits are warm and moist and a likely place for bacteria, especially fungus, to grow.

You can try using ASAP gel by American Biotech Labs on his armpit. It's a nano silver gel that doesn't accumulate in the body and kills pathogens. You should use this every day until the infection clears up perfectly. My husband had a fungal infection in his armpits and this cleared it up.

You can also put cornstarch in the armpit. This keeps the area very dry, making it very hard for fungus to thrive on the skin. However, this would work mainly for fungus and not as much for bacteria.
