I had physical exam two days ago which showed “ a hard asymmetric prostate gland”... Could anybody explain to me what do they mean by this??? Is this something serious???
An asymmetric prostate may be considered a nodule. When a nodule is found it may mean that you have prostatitis or infection. So, probably you should see your urologist to have this checked... Maybe you will need some treatment for infection (or prostatitis). On the other hand prostate nodules can be a sigh of more serious diseases like cancer – so, visit to your urologist is a MUST.
