Hello! Can anybody explain to me what testicle atrophy is? Thank you

Hi there! I know what this is but wouldn’t want to see it in my case ever! Testicular atrophy is a testicular shrinkage. This happens when there is a damage to vas deferens and when there isn’t enough blood supply to the testicles. I also heard that the use of anabolic steroids can cause testicular atrophy. It may also happen after the torsion of the testicle. I am not sure what happens to a testicle that had shrunk. Maybe it needs to be removed or something?
