Hi, I’m 17 years old and got my first menstruation 2 years ago. Since than it has not occurred constantly every month and almost every time length of period was different. Sometimes it was 3 days and month after it would last for even 10 days. For how long should I wait for my menstruation to become regular? What is average menstral length?
Just like you said that was happening to you-it is normal for period to last from 3 to 10 days. This probably is not from help to you, but there are no rules in this thing about periods. Some women never develop regular periods-that every month and each time last for same number of days. Especially not the girls of your age. So, average length is 5-6 days, but not necessarily ‘normal’.
