| I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 15 years age. Ever since, I was on some medications in order to control my disease. There were steroids, sulfasalazine, many others, in between and finally azathioprine. Now, I want to get pregnant and wonder what about my therapy? Is azathioprine safe to be used in pregnancy? |

| The final word should be by your OP, but according to my experience, I think that azathioprine is not safe. Why? No one really said that azathioprine should not be used while pregnancy, but also no one said that it should be used. The most common information is that there is no data about. My OP advised me not to use azathioprine during pregnancy. He offered steroids instead, just for the pregnancy time. |
