I am 25 years old and I am pregnant. I have severe headaches two or three times a week. I know that aspirin is contraindicated in babies, but is it contraindicated in pregnancy too?
What analgesics are recommended in pregnancy? Is paracetamol safe drug for babies?

If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, you should avoid all the drugs, even vitamin supplements. Aspirin causes Rey’s syndrome in babies and it should be avoided until the age of 15. It can also cause malformation in cardiovascular system of baby if taken during last three months. Check your blood pressure if your headache persist. Paracetamol is safer drug, but in you should decrease the dose.
