Hi. I just had my hysterectomy on Jan 25th and am now experiencing severe back pain. My pain had been so bad since the surgery that I had to be put on Dilaudid (powerful stuff). I have a doctor who seems like he doesn't really care now that the surgery is over. But I can tell you to try some of those AZO tablets that help numb the urinary tract. They are OTC and sometimes I feel relief from that. I have no more pain medication and they wont give anything. I would not be a good poster child for hysterectomy. Very depressed and no help from medical doctor.
