What are bacteriostatic antibiotics using for? Are they less effective than bactericides?
How should I treat my respiratory infection? I use antibiotics very often, but it just cause lighten of my symptoms. I did some tests, and bacteria were found in my specimen. Does this mean that bacteriostatics didn’t help me?
Some infections are treated with bacteriostatics, and some are better treated with bactericides. It is your doctor’s decision. Bacteriostatics disable bacterial growing and multiplication.
