I have tried quite a few different pills and i have bad reactions to them. The 30mg estrogen pills give me bad side effects after one day such as vomiting, skin soreness, mouth dryness and eye sensitivity. The doctor put me on 20mg microgynon to which i put on alot of weight in a really short amount of time, and he thinks im sensitive to the progesterone in it. I feel really stuck and im not sure what to do. Im travelling soon for a couple of years and dont want to freak out every month that im pregnant while im away. Do i have any options? Has anyone had the same problems as me? I have heard about mirena IUD but there is alot of negative info out there that its freaking me out. I would love some advice, thanks
