Hello! I believe my best friend is being really depressed. She was always sociable with many social contacts. And now she has with droved, doesn’t speak much doesn’t socialize. I’ve advised her to go visit a doc and talk about her condition, but she refuses the idea of being really depressed. I know there’s something wrong in her behavior now and I’d like to hear of some general information about being depressed. Thanks.

Well, my sister has been really depressed ten years ago. This is a serious medical condition that can be cured by specific medical treatment. If such a condition lasts for few weeks it could be a sign of depression which is a serious diagnose. The important thing for your friend is to go and visit a doc as soon as possible for earlier she starts with medical treatment she will increase chances for getting recovered. Also if treatment started on time there are fewer chances for the depression to get back again. The main cause of depression is imbalance of neurotransmitters so that the medical treatment consists of using medications that affect these chemicals. My sisters was also advised to do other stuff she likes the best like going out with friends, for example she started exercising 3 or 4 times a week and it really helped her fight the depression. But the most important thing is to react on time. My sister went to the doc immediately and it’s now for years she hasn’t been depressed.

Depression is often helped by eating an all natural foods diet and eliminating anything with artificial flavoring and coloring Also try getting more exercise on a consistent basis.
