Is it possible that my 18-year-old son could suffer from some mental illness? He has these behavior troubles- cannot behave in public. He talks and shouts as if he at home and he sometimes start talking with strangers. I am starting to be desperate; this has begun several months ago, when his father, my husband passed away. What am I supposed to do?

You know what you have to do. Take him to a psychiatrist; he will determine what is wrong with him. His father's death was just a trigger for something that has been in him for who knows how long. Perhaps we are talking about borderline personality, patient looks normal until something stressful happens.
