belching and yawning

I have shortness of breath. The only thing I can contribute it to is constant yawning and belching, I am presuming from swallowing too much air. But the feeling of needing more air keeps me inhaling deeply. Thus, the cycle repeats itself. The doctors can't find out what is wrong with me. Any suggestions?
