Hi, I want to find out something about the Bell's palsy syndrome. My father has it. He has started to feel the symptoms of it few days ago. His right side of the face is paralyzed. He can't move his forehead. It is flat and smooth. Can you tell me why that is?
It is one of the most common symptoms of the Bell's palsy syndrome. Because of the inflammation of the facial nerve he can't move his facial muscles. That is why his forehead is so unexpressive. It can lead to dryness of cornea and often irritating of the conjunctiva. Also it can cause drooling from the mouth.
