help!
i've been on high doses of halcion(.5mg) trazadone (300mg} ativan(.5mg) and zanaflex(8mg) all hs! for3 years and am still not sleeping well (actually horribly) i have minimal restorative sleep with severe alpha intrusions( verified by 3 sleep studies) this is a 13 year sleep prolem. my sleep medicine has included benzos for the past 13 years.
my daytime fatigue is overwhelming but i can't sleep during the day. i have multiple health issues and am on disability. my doctor now wants to use xyrem and wants me to wean off the other sleep meds. i have repeatedly (over many years) slowly tried to decrease the doses with horrible withdrawl symptons. i've never had this many meds to taper off. my md has a very no problem attitude about this and i'm terrified. i've researched and can't figure out what, if any, herbals will help?

I have been going off celexa and trazadone for the last 2 years. It has been very difficult. I found a website, the road back, which addresses withdrawal from antideperessants etc. The site is helpful and also offers a book.
